Screen & Door Installer
About the Role
Brackendale Bug Screens needs an installer who can handle both window screen installations and screen or storm door installations. You don't need to be a specialist in either — we're looking for someone mechanically capable and comfortable learning a small set of installation types.
Jobs come to you through our platform. You see the job details, contact the customer to schedule, show up with everything you need (we supply all materials), do the installation, document it with photos, and submit. The platform handles the rest.
Pay is commission-based at 10% of the job value. Window screen jobs typically run $400–$2,000 depending on the number of windows. Door installations run $200–$800. A solid day of installs earns $150–$400.
What You'll Do
- Install custom window screen frames in residential homes
- Install retractable screen doors and standard screen door systems
- Install storm doors (basic carpentry / door hanging skills required)
- Contact customers to book installation appointments (3-day window after build is complete)
- Complete before/after photo documentation through the BBS installer app
- Fill out a completion checklist for each job
- Conduct yourself professionally in customers' homes
What We're Looking For
- Basic mechanical aptitude — you can follow a process and work carefully
- Comfortable using hand tools (screwdriver, level, drill)
- Reliable vehicle with space to transport screen frames and door components
- Good communicator — you're scheduling directly with customers
- Punctual and accountable — installation windows are committed times
- Experience in installation, trades, or similar hands-on work is a strong asset but we'll train the right person
- Based in or near Squamish OR West Vancouver / North Shore
