About the Role
Brackendale Bug Screens builds custom window screens, retractable screen doors, and storm doors for homes across the Sea to Sky Corridor and Metro Vancouver. We're looking for a Lead Builder to own our production workflow — someone who takes pride in clean, precise work and can build to spec without constant supervision.
This is a shop-based role in Squamish. You work from production orders that come in through our platform, build each job to the specified dimensions and materials, and document your work before it heads out to installation.

Pay is flat-rate per job. Good builders make good money here, and as our volume grows, so does yours.
What You'll Do
- Build custom window screens to spec (frame cutting, mesh installation, corner assembly)
- Build and assemble retractable screen door systems
- Measure, cut, and fit storm door components
- Read production orders from our job management platform
- Document completed builds with photos and sign-off before release to installation
- Maintain a clean, organized shop workspace
- Flag any material issues or spec discrepancies before building
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with power tools (saw, drill, measuring equipment)
- Ability to read measurements accurately including fractions (e.g. 32 1/2")
- Strong attention to detail — a screen built 1/8" off spec won't fit
- Self-directed — you manage your own production queue
- Reliable: jobs need to be built on time so installs can be scheduled
- Experience in screen building, custom manufacturing, carpentry, or a similar trade is a strong asset — but if you're mechanically inclined and a fast learner, we want to hear from you
